got it for 360 monday night, and its probally the best game to date overall… def suceeds the last gta’s for sure which was expected.
Some really cool things in there, but a few things I wanna say that kinda got me like wtf…
No car tuning anymore? I thought if anything they would do a better job than they did with sa and add some engine tuning and just more indepth car modding, but looks like they have not and if that isnt weird enough, the devs clearly made extra parts for each car, has anyone checked the dvd on their pc yet ?
No buying houses or businesses by your self, you are just assigned houses, uhhh damn…
No diving in the water anymore, thats strange, not like its important super needed but … why not have it ?
NOW the euphoria game engine has 100% lived up to its hype and gtaiv preforms flawless, in my opinion, with the game and the damage is FINALLY dynamic and the physics are finally ragdoll-like when u fall off your bike, run someone over or punch or push anyone etc etc. Thats a great great great thing, because I was so sick of the physics before.
The driving has benefited from it also but the amount of suspension slop on every car is a bit silly, and sports cars really should have LSD’s but overall its improved majorly compared to gtaIII based gta’s .
No working out anymore either… damn cant become a 50 cent now…

But stealing cars is 50% more realistic now at least they are locked and u have to do some amount of hot wiring even its automatic and happens in leik 2 seconds, its better than assuming every car in the city has its doors open and u can jsut drive away with it cuz the keys were inside.
The taxi stuff is great, and the cell phone thing rocks, two really good additions to the gta series to really help out playing the game and keep you playing it longer because it takes out alot of frustration .
The guns are fun

and talking about models, the player models finally have some polygons on them in gta sa and older gta’s they looked like damn paper origamis (spellingggggggg) the polygons were sooo obvious
So overall im very happy with the game and its the best game by far , so far…
BUT its not perfect in many ways, like usual, and thats fine, but alot of the things that could of brought it closer to being perfect was already in the last games… so why not include them here ? damn…
OH yea for the fighting and stuff its finally more than just one button now, u can block and duck, kick and punch two different ways, thats cool but the lack of a gym to work out and learn new moves is really limiting that new feature now…
The graphics are amazing for a game of this complexity , very impressive
anybody following how they want to ban this game in chicago and some other state? The presidents canidates are all about it too.

its a shame but what ever the game has obviously sold a shit load already, 70% people on my website have it already, and everyone i know who has a ps3 (liek no one) and an xbox 360 already has it too…
so wat ever if they are trying to ban the game too bad lol

it sucks you can’t buy houses… i use to pack them full of nasty cars. I havent gotten far enough to be assigned a house… i better atleast get a fucking garage.

yea but then, i got to thinking a bit more,
im sure that changing the game engine had alot to do with it. You have to either comprise quality or amount of features in the game within the given time to develop it, and of course within the budget. BUT we all know the budget for grand theft auto is in the hundered millions by now.
Since the game engine is brand new, they had to re-add (if you will) all the features to the game again, they started with GTAIII and then they added alot of things in vice city, and even more in SA, so it obviuosly took them ALOT of time to do that. SO I guess I can expect them to do all of that again on a new engine.
I’m sure that the next GTA, cuz there will 100% be a next one, will be using the same engine, just a few graphics enhancements and alot more features like tuning cars and buying houses.

I’m sure by the time the next one comes out it will be deeper in the blu-ray generation, and be able to stuff a shit ton more goodies in there that will melt our minds for the first two weeks until we get used to that one :rofl
