I came across a guy in one of those Saab WRXs (9-2x?), seemed to be interested in a run against the grandma sedan, so we did a couple rolls. Lined up at about 30, i spun hard and he pulled me a little bit till about 60, when i started walking by him pretty good up to about 80-90ish. Second run, same thing, we were dead even till about 60ish when i stated walking by him again. Im assuming i walked past him when he shifted, b/c my 2nd goes to like 100 so i was in one gear the whole time.

I was kinda surprised that my car seemed to have a lot more top end than his did…

They are sorta heavy with a small 4 cylinder and a small turbo. Not very great top end. Nice kill though, those cars rock.

edit: i think if i hadnt spun from 30-45 i really would have pulled him much harder, but it was kinda wet. AWD>FWD FTW

edit: the only reason i posted this is that for the 1st time the GTP actually had more topend than something LOL

Yeah basically but I think they are a bit heavier because of all the saab pimpy-goodness.

Yup the saabaru is a lil bit on the heavy side, not surprised at the outcome at all.

yeah the n/a one is brutally slow. The WRX one is, well, as quick as a WRX…

edit: GTP = 3300lbs + ME 300lbs + my shit 200lbs + my friend 200lbs = 4klbs

edit: since when is 3300lbs a bit heavy? i had easily 700lbs on him…

mags say it will do 14.7 @ 92. I did a quick search on a 92x forum and a dude ran a 14.8 @ 92 with a terrible 2.1 60ft. So they are about as fast as a stock wrx. Not TOO bad.
