See thats what i was saying before when i asked about the R33 and R34, i knew there were at the very least different stock tunes if not different versions of the RB26…ok, i didn’t know but i had a pretty huge hunch, lol…the only one i dunno is the second one, the one in your sig too…isn’t that just the chassis code for the R33 GTR? are you just refering to the stock R33 gtr motor?

Ya you’re right on that one nis_mo the engine was swapped so ya Ill give you that point.
Best I can say is, the car isnt stock, but the engine still is.
I have no papers for this becuz my BCNR33 Spec isnt stock anymore…it’s running higher than 325HP.
The BCNR33 only came out one year for a 1996 type GT-R. Quickly said, the engine was designed to improve torque numbers.
This was the stepping stone for the R400 RB.

I had an S13 and have a GTR and I love both cars. I also love my Pathfinder (snow shmo). I hope to pick up either a Datsun Roadster or 70-73 Z next spring. I also have a big ugly green GMC Sierra in my driveway. I had a 68 Mustang, a 79 Civic, my mother’s 84 Chevy Station wagon, a Ford Grenada, and a Toyta Corolla GT-S. An assortment of motorcycles, a BMX bike, a road bike and a mountain bike. Hell, I even had a skate board and one of those GT Snow Racers.
They are all better and worse than the rest in different ways.

After reading this thread all I can say is wow! some of you 180 guys should be driving srt-4’s or cobalts haha
C’mon guys the GTR is arguably the best or at the very least top 3 best cars ever produced by a Japanese manufacturer. Anyone nissan guy, no any car guy who can’t appreciate a GTR is quite simply imo a complete douchbag
