the rich shoud have to give more because they can afford to give more. Homeless vets, welfare moms, fuck, if you work full time at a minimum wage job you’ll still fall well below the poverty line. if you are born poor, the odds are stacked so highly against you already. Im far from a socialist too…

Perhaps if you would learn to read or at least comprehend more than one sentence at a time you might finally get a clue. The 2% remark on the IRS website is their approximate of the amount of the population that has to cut the IRS a check every year as a result of the tax.
The businesses (the farms were an example) that have to be sold/shut down as a result “affect” much more than the 2% that have to pay the tax.
Actually a flat tax would be better because all those low life mother fuckers on welfare THAT roll aroudn in mercades and hummers would still have to pay the taxes.

so with the top 10% paying 62% of the taxes, you’re damn straight that a tax cut is going to benefit ‘the rich’ as we define ‘rich’…
