They are not as sweet as you think. Silverstars, Nighthawkz, et el overload the filament to produce marginally better light output at the expense of bulb life. We are talking an average 6 month life expectancy here. You are looking at 60-75 1-2 a year to do your low beams. Oh, and to top it off, the light output declines gradually before blowing out. Is it really that sweet of a deal? Not IMO.
Zenki’s are horrendous for HID’s. Kouki’s would be ideal with seperate low and high beam projectors. It is the perfect base to work from really. You don’t lose your high beams like you would with most cars.
If you are going to drop the $$$$, might as well be for an HID setup.
