H.I.D. input please

wtf you talking about i had hid’s before.

i stick to my story tho. be a man and just put hid’s in if you want em.

your old car was shit

and was weak

All of the cool people in Japan rock HID’s, usually 8K or 6K. 4300K is for the proper types.

Quick question, how much work/cost would it be to retrofit in S2k Bi-Xenons (for pop-ups)? I hear they are the best with the widest angle of light. Is it even possible? Haven’t seen anybody with this setup before.

EDIT**

Nvm, did some reading, found out a lot of info from 8thcivic.com

Here is some comparison pics and info

If someone would as kind as to tell me what retorfitting is that’d be great

What does retrofitting your headlights mean? Retrofitting your headlights means replacing your stock headlights with a genuine High Intensity Discharge (HID) kit. Generally, most cars are equipped from the manufacturer with halogen light bulbs which radiate using a reflective housing instead. What are the benefits of having HID headlights? With a genuine HID kit, you will have a sharp and attractive cutoff, wide projection, even light output, greater visibility while driving at night and the ultimate in healight customization. This is your chance to make your headlights differen't from evey other car out there! What is the difference between "plug and play kits" and genuine HID kits? After the widespread of HID use in cars manufactured by BMW, Mercedes, Acura and Lexus, various aftermarket companies began flooding the market with "plug and play HID kits". These kits are usually shipped from China or Japan and in most cases utilize your stock headlight reflector. These kits are not as reliable as genuine parts and may be ileagal because of glare caused to oncoming traffic. Genuine HID kits are pieced together idividually and use a projector which evenly distributes a wide and even light output with a sharp (and very attractive) cutoff. The following image demonstrates the difference between a plug and play kit and headlights which have been retrofitted using genuine HID components.

How much does retrofitting headlights cost?
Retrofitting your headlights can be an expensive process depending on the components you wish to use. Some customers are willing to pay up to $900 to have their headlights retrofitted, however our pricing begins at $400 for a complete kit.
^ Basically, it’s the process of cutting out the back of your old headlight housings, and putting in (fitting) projectors from a different car that uses Bi-Xenon (Hi and Low beam together) or Single Xenon bulbs/ballasts … etc.

The s2K ones are ridiculousy sharp. Very intense, very sharp cut off. ATM I am rocking 6000K’s and notice that the cut off is good for what it is, but it llacks the light intensity gained from HID projectors. Definitely better than stock in every way. I am sure if I wasn’t such a ricer, and went with 4300’s, things would be different.
