I had my car detailed by PAD, Perfection Automotive Detailing yesterday, and holy crap it turned out nice!
First, he did a full interior clean, which was a lot of steam cleaning carpets leather and things like the steering wheel, and then applying protectants. Look at how amazing the steering wheel is now. He said there was white running off of it, from all the skin cells that built up over the years.
Then, he had the Dent Doctor come and pop out 2 dents my car had. One was a ding, but one was a big dent, about 3" long and maybe 1/8" - 1/4" pushed in. I am amazed he got it out. He went in through the rear wheel well, popped it out, and then glued in a factory body plug into the well. After the dents were out, Jamie applied some Wolfgang 3.0 sealant, and as you can see, it’s quite shiny now!
The car has just over 106k miles, and has been driven in the winters. Not bad PAD, not bad at all!!
I actually got quite the hook up because I know the owner and I did his website for him a while back. The dent doctor was there doing other vehicles, so I got that at wholesale rate, so it was $140 for my whole car (2 dings, 1 large dent). The interior detail was $124 with me dropping it off at his shop, and then he the exterior detail is normally like $100 or so, but that is where Jamie hooked me up. I recommend his work to anyone who wants absolutely top notch work. His clients include many exotic and VERY expensive cars, so I would gladly trust him with any of my vehicles any day of the week.
End of the day I spent around $300, but my exterior is now dent-free, and has a wonderful shine, and my interior looks as good as the day it rolled off the lot!
