Don’t forget to eat your poutine and drink some maple syrup!
eh?
Haha <3
I’ll be out tonight over the border celebrating.
Shouldn’t this be in the network OT section? Eh, maybe not…
Thanks canada
I was going to, but for some reason didn’t feel like finding the network OT link. lol
Feel free to move it.
Happy Canada Day… please stay there. The GI bridges are a big enough mess already.
Keep it here so you guys can get it out of your systems, lol.
Ugh. It’s retarded how backed up those bridges are. We went across when both lanes were open but there was just a bump on the bridge to get over. Traffic was backed up to the fucking 290. ffuuuuuuuuuu
thanks canada for backing up the lewiston bridge this morning.
glad there was an hr wait at 3am and just got progressively worse until i left work at 8am.
its funny how it seems like everyone just vacates canada on “canada day”.
hope you all really enjoy your 4 day shopping trip to various outlet malls in ny/nj/pa…retards
this.
i am not looking forward to working all weekend.
They’re retards for saving money by shopping in a close by country?
lol well lets see how much you think they are actually saving…
waiting in line for at least an hr at 4am
driving about 8-10 hrs to thier destination
tolls
gas money
food
hotel
shopping
then turning around and doing it all over again.
and thats not to mention the ones who rent a car…
seems like they are saving so much money!!!
i stand firm by my statement.
HST just went into effect; 13% tax in Ontario. That shit adds up quick.
so does duty.
Yeah like they don’t get around that by wearing 10 shirts, 8 pairs of undies and removing tags and dumping the rest into empty luggage, lol. Take a look at any mall parking lot after this weekend and you’ll find find the proof laying there in piles.
Exactly. And not all of those people drive 8 hours to their destination. Not to mention when a group go they split all of the travel costs. Trust me, they are saving money.
On weekends like this, it’s obviously a little less desirable due to the added traffic, but normally it’s a pretty sweet deal for them seeing as the Canadian and US dollar are almost even.
