I WIN!
you could always make a C4
No, but I remember liking a yellow one once that was low and had really wide wheels.
Don’t do black, maybe matte olive green with bright colored wheels, or even just gunmetal. It could be cool, maybe. But you would need a driveline too or you would lose to STi’s towing jet-skis.
That’s a C5 Tim!
yeah I know, just throwing the idea out there lol
newman my grandfather has a mint silver one, buy it from him and start this project
This one already has a ground effect kit on it

Theres a local 2 tone light gold/metallic brown with gold bbs wheels and a ground effect kit that doesnt look too bad.
Making a C4 look good? There is a greater chance of me holding hands and singing Kumbaya with the fucking brain dead retards on this site then finding a way to make a C4 Vette look good.
LOL^
The only way to make a C4 look good is to sell it it and buy a C5 or 6
or maybe crashing the C4
The C4 was probably one of the worst model corvettes ever. They had a shitty interior, shit driveline and just horrible styling. Yes even the ZR1 C4 looked like a bag of smashed assholes. Sure it had good power but the fact that it wasn’t even a GM motor is fucking absurd. These cars blow and thank god they redeemed themselves with the C5 and C6 corvette.
what motor is in the ZR-1?
Lotus
overwhelming details lol
thanks though, I’ll look it up for more info
Lotus designed v8 with 16 injectors
Also as a note most clutch companies have discontinued making products for the c4 and those that are left are really expensive for a basic clutch.
DOHC 32 valve, 349ci
heads: 22 degree, 1.54" intake(2), 1.38" exhaust(2), 10.25:1 CR
Early model LT5 engines had 2-bolt mains. Later models came with 4-bolt mains. 3.90" Bore, 3.66" Stroke, 11.25:1 CR
sounds like it would be expensive to get ANY parts for
Seeing as how it is 2010 it’ easy to say these things now, looking at the C5 and C6 Corvette’s.
When the C4 arrived in 1984 it was a big deal. It put the world on notice. Here was an American car that could handle as good as a Ferrari or other exotic at a quarter of the price. Keep in mind that anything with 300hp back then cost over $50,000. In 1985 it got TPI and a boost in power. When the ZR-1 came around in 1990 it was on the cover of every magazine all over the world. It was dubbed “King of the Hill” by just about everyone. It could not be touched for the price. They did restyle the interiors for 1991 but they still aren’t up to nyspeed standards apparently, lol.
the redesigned interior is much better than the original!
Car still sux
I do not remember them being a big deal. I have seen some that I liked for some reason, and others that I hated.
I can’t begin to imagine how slow they were in the 80’s. I feel that my dads C5 is slow too.
my 3y/o: “Go faster”
me: “I can’t”
needs to have TFI
