Has sprint been calling you non stop with ads?

I’ve had sprint for a few years, I love their service and their deals.

Their BS started about a year ago, when I had text mesaging.

I had since disabled text.

They would text me some bullshit advertisement to add a handset to my account. This would happen about once a month.

I opted out to their ads.

Now in the past couple months, someone from a 1800 number at sprint will actually call me and give me a sales pitch to add a phone to my service for 9.99 a month.

The first call was a novelty, now they are calling me every two weeks.

I tell them every time, no i don’t want it.

The last time they called, the girl gave me the script pitch. I cut her off in the middle of it, and she just hung up the phone without saying ok goodbye or anything.

Anybody got the sprint opt out number?

got it on consumerist…

You can call 1-(800)-865-7786 to opt out.

Instead of hanging up on them, tell them you want to be removed from their list. If it happens again, demand to speak to a supervisor and explain you’ll be filing a complaint with your state attorney general’s office, as well as the FCC. Outbound calling is a highly regulated industry and they can get in all kinds of trouble with fines if you ask to be removed from their lists and they don’t remove you.

I sometimes get texts from sprint, but it’s so rare that I don’t get pissed about it.

You don’t have to threaten calling the attorney general, just talk to someone high up.

Just ask them if you could pay for it with sexual favors and if not you don’t want it

I cancelled my Sprint account and switched to Verizon a few months ago and now Sprint keeps sending me checks once a month for $1.97…why? I have no idea LOL Their service has gone down hill the past year or so…switch to verizon…they are way better.

Or if your like me you can just talk to them about the most random and awkward things. And pretending your mostly deaf is fun too.
