Ive put this same head unit in a couple of my cars in the past. Its just a basic pioneer cd player running 4 factory speakers. I put it in my girls car today and i noticed that within a minute, the back heat plate heats up to very hot. maybe i didnt notice it before in my cars, but i did in hers. all the wiring is right, its grounded as well. turns on fine and all speakers works as they should. im just worried because its not my car. does it always heat up so quickly and i just missed it before??
will it burn your fingers or is it just warm. if it is burning them you have a short.
