Actually, that’s not the one you need to plug. You need to put the spacer in the o2 sensor on the midpipe UNDERNEATH the car.
I’m assuming that you have an 02-03 car, which has 3 o2 sensors. If you plug the spacer into the one in the midpipe, your SES light should go off and stay that way.
Why the heck would you need 3 o2 sensors? (I know one for MAF, one for cat-converter but the 3rd? you dont have 2 down pipes like a V6 or anything…)
2)Is the Ghetto Sim just a signal says the cat-converter is working?
Put down the crack pipe. There’s only 2 and they’re both on the exhaust manifold.
I don’t know what everyone is bitching about SES lights for. When I had my header the #1 02 sensor was in the header and I relocated the #2 to behind the second cat on the mid-pipe. Ran like that with no ghetto sim, no nothing for a year and a half with NO SES lights.
You may have to “double stack” your secondary 02 sensor with another spacer (screw the spacer into the header, and screw another spacer into the spacer).:?
Some people have had to do this before, maybe you’re one of those unlucky ones.
maybe i should get one of you guys to look at it.
i am not even sure if i have the room to put a second spacer on the O2 sensor before they connect with the fan housing…
