i been though your ordeal and its not worth having a alternative heat source…
i don’t think i could find one thats whole, it was a pain in the but getting out…and i dunno if i want to try putting another one in. besides, with it out i can get to my #6 cylinder alot easier now which is nice. but, this is mostly a nice weather car. Just want something that will put a little heat out on a chilly day.

your mustang catching on fire != alternative heat source
get a heater out of an old british roadster like a tr7, or an mg/mgb. the heater box/fan are in their own compartment. has 2 lines that go out to the engine bay for water source. will heat enough to defrost windows and keep you warm. you have like 3 wires to hook up for the blower motor, as it is a multi speed setup. im more than likely going to use one in my car. As the prices for an aftermarket heater setup ranges from 100 bucks and up. i know i can get a complete heater setp from work for less than that.
call shawn or go to boostjunkieracing.com. im sure he has and will install the factory deal for you…if he doesnt have a couple on hand then your fucked to use turbobuick.com classifieds.
