If a helicopter is placed on a spinning platform which spins at the same RPM but opposite direction of the helicopter’s main rotor…Does the helicopter take off?

haa haaa haaa haaa haaa haa haaaaaaaaaaaaa
Nothing will ever take off if everything is moving and the Earth stops spinning.
No because the pilot vomits uncontrollable at the controls and blacks out.
send it to mythbusters.
It will actually reverse the spin of the earth, cause all planes to not take off, instead the conveyors will.
it will actually drill a hole downward to the center of the earth
You would have to bolt/weld/strap/brace the heli to the platform and then the heli would have to generate lift for heli and platform… so no. Send it to mythbusters.
the helicopters engine would have to spin twice as fast for the helicopter to lift off. this is not taking into account air disruptions caused by the rotation of the helicopter body.
Also: LOL.
jeez this was posted on the dodge forums hours earlier, zong i expect quicker thinking out of you than dodge truck owners…
