Hey guys, need your help once again, i have no idea what i should buy for a car.
My choices are
1.Acura Vigor
2.Sunfire Gt(or 2dr sunfire)
3.Civic
4.rx7 GS (posted on this site)
5.talon(needs clutch/ebrake cable)
Well, my dad wants me to get a vigor, and i want the rx7 the most, comments? Thanks for help in advance, i don’t want to spend over 5k on this winter car. cough maybe 3k, lol.
My choice would be Acura Vigor
I’ve heard Vigors are expensive cars in general. A.k.a-parts on them are very pricey.
also just wondering, is it true that you should tap the redline on your rotary daily to clean the engine? Don’t know much about that single piston gismo.
Holy shit man not 2 or 3! Every car needs a little work so don’t hesitate on the rest. IMO 1-Talon 2- RX7 3- Vigor

The one im looking at is a 93 vigor, has like 189k on it, fairly decent price (3.9k) or something like that.
oh, and i ment like 3k on the actual car itself, not fixing it up, i have to save for school soon :vom:
I have an acura vigor right now.
455000 km on it and its still going mighty strong.
the auto tranny has seen better days but its still moving great.
It has been in our family since 91(its a 92 gs model)
if you want to modify the car you get do not buy a vigor.
the g25a1 has pretty much no aftermarket support.
i would say talon, then civic, then vigor, STAY AWAY FROM THE SUNFIRE
Unless you have lots of spare cash or lots of know how i’d stay away from an rx-7.
I think all your choices aren’t very good or very well thought out.
What’s your budget? What are you using the car for? More importantly what do you want the car for? And do you have experience working on cars?

I remember there being a very very nice vigor in the city. black, lowered, front lip. decently fast, beat my friends stock vr6. I wonder where it went
I can fix minor issues, but if like a tranny needs a rebuild im out in the field, just need an automobile to get to/from work.
what car do u think i should get v-specR? A sentra? What are some “good” choices?

My brother had an RX-7, and he nearly parked it for the winters. There’s a lot of winter cars out there, but an RX-7 is nowhere close to the list.
The Vigor was only made for 3 years right? I know some of them have rust problems on the trunk.
i’d also go with the vigor.

ive driven my 95 honda for winter since 2004 and if you can really find a good one go for it. so reliable and so cheap on gas. no gut at all but whatever. I only have 90xxxkms on my civic.
id get the civic if its a hatch back
Take the Sunfire off your list IMMEDIATELY. Have a little pride man.
vigors are fken awesome to work on, 5 cylinder mayhem…
everytime one comes into my work you hope you don’t pull that car as a job, those and the 2.5L 95ish TLs.
but they rarely come in, there tough sobs, the most kms ive seen on one was 630000 and it just have minor auto tranny problems, oil changes are like s13s tho under the intake mani… engineers :roll:
