???
The EDFC is just an electronic unit that adjusts dampening. There are a bunch of coilover setups available (basic, super street, flex, gravel, track, etc) some of which support the EDFC, some do not. Having an EDFC setup simply means that you can adjust dampening via the controller, rather than having to manually do it.
yea, i had flex on the subaru and they were incredible…i got them professionally set up for 2.5degree negatvie camber up front(with a marking for 3 degrees for when i auto-xd)and very minmal degree camberand no toe in the rear. it was superb, i highly recommend for comfort/quality/durability/reliability and fun factor
i can say this because i HAD the original Tanaba Sustec Pro coilovers for it first, and lets just say the rears blew out on the highway in PA so PENNDOT bought me a new set of TEINs to replace them…i HIGHLY recommend TEIN especially if you want auto-x with them or if you want quality/comfort.
if you wanna ride in my civic some night just shoot me a pm. i’ve got ground controls and kyb agx’s. i keep them on the softest setting and they’ll still rock your socks.
Bah! I know this…the whole statement is saying why would anyone buy these without the pimpness of EDFC? I’m cheap and I still would spend the $$$ for in-car l33tsauce adjustment. However, I’d still rock the koni/GC setup first. There was a huge thread on H-T with shock dynos and a billion different setups and the koni/GC seem to be the top pick on Hondas.
alright so if i went with the neuspeed sport springs and KYBs, ll get a almost stockish ride, but will i still be able to corner or is the car going to wanna roll. last thing i wanna do is buy a nice soft setup, then go into a turn and loose it.
BTW longuyen88, if its cool. id like to see how they feel…are your stock shocks about the same as the kybs?
