new toys in the mail today...

pretty excited to do this little project. The best part is the adjustable dampening on the run. With the EFDC, i can adjust the dampening rate and save 3 sets as well, all controlled by micro stepper motors. Beats crawling in the trunk and pulling the panels out to access the damper control valve.

So now i can have the system set for:

1.) Auto-x setting
2.) Cruising the highway setting
3.) AWWW SHIT HOWIE’S IN THE BACK SEAT! setting.

What spring rates did you get?

Why didnt you make your own? :stuck_out_tongue:

We installed one of those on my buddies Integra, definitly an awesome setup if you do all kinds of different driving.

Seriously… cheater.

i was thinking of selling my H&R coils for those, the H&R has too much of a rough ride for my liking and i would love something adjustable on the fly

wow, those are money. def. a pimp setup though. i looked into them for the focus because i want true coilovers in the back, but they arent true coilovers in teh back for the focus. i hate ford.

they don’t make them for the bimmer, but i looked into it. Cool setup, redrum had them in his hatch.

That’s pretty hot.

Josh, and i both share the same suspension now

i meant my bimmer.

you bought them? nice.

though i thought i remember reading lackluster reviews about the SS setup… maybe that was a different model?

Nice!

I’m sure you’ll be able to give us a good fair review on them in the spring.

X…

lol at setting 3.

the edfc is so bad ass. congrats on your purchase.

is that all they have for your application is the ss?

well this thread title threw me off… and im not gonna lie, im a little upset.

anyways… on the new “toys”

cant wait to see everything installed

word, i’d like to see how great the drop will end up being when all is said and done.

now josh can put the little tien guy sticker on the his fender and be ultra-cool

( WHO DOES THAT )

The thing i have to think about now, is where i want to mount the EDFC and if i want it to be stealthy or not. Incorporating INTO something is always a cool route to go.

I did, but i didn’t have enough clearance for the leaf spring.

I’ve heard nothing but great reviews on the TEIN SS setup for e46’s. Other vehicles or the “TEIN Basics” I can’t vouch for.

No, TEIN offers a “Basic” coilover setup as well, but that doesn’t have any dampening control. The EDFC is purchased seperately as an upgraded to only the TEIN SS system.

H&R and Bilstein Both make decent coilover kits as well, but i’ve read better reviews for the TEIN setup.
