My family is going to be switching to Verizon in the next two weeks. I’ll have my dad go to you. 
Nextel is fucking awful.
One of my good friends has it and it was a joke to try and get at him anywheres outside a city.

I have taken it to FL,MN,IL, and MO. Never have had any problems. I don’t go out in the boonies, except on one cruise, and I had no service there once.

nextel works fine in most places. not downtown … and not on grand island.
and ‘please hold while the nextel subscriber is located’ is something i have gotten used to hearing…
i had cingular…and i didn’t have too much of a problem with it.
i guess its to each his own in this case…everyone will have a problem with other companies.
verizon is expensive…the only reason i would switch to tmobile would be because i want a sidekick.
i’ve got some time…but its probably going to verizon or sprint…and if i go with verizon i’ll pop in to see evolve.
