I knocked down an old shed at my house and the slab and outside forms need to be repaired so i can build a new shed asap. Slab is 13X20.
What I need to do is get a bucket to scoop out around the entire slab as deep as the outside forms were poured (maybe 1/2 feet deep or so i bet) so I can reform and repour/repair the outside walls. I also would like to skid out a 13X10 slab infront of the shed so I can pour a slab outside the shed to work on stuff instead of on the grass. While I am at it, there are two stupid lumps of soil in my yard that the damn mower deck bottoms out on every time I mow, so I want to just level it out… should only take a sigle pass/scoop.
I know how to run them, but dont have any resources I can contact to borrow equiptment anymore. Wouldnt be more than a half days work max.
I havent seen anyone ever talk about this type of stuff here, so who knows. Anyone got a tractor and some free time coming up, that could lend a hand and make a lil side $$$$?
I work at a John Deere Dealership, and while I am disgusted that you mentioned Kubota I may be able to help, send me a pm with where you live and when you would want to do this
My father own’s a landscaping company, and I work with him full time. Its just me and him…
we have two kubota tractors…one like the exact one you posted above, and a smaller one, with no backhoe. If you are serious, you can call up my father and tell him I refereed you too him as I am not with him right now, but I will be tomorrow morning. We can do anything and everything you need from excavating too trucking in topsoil. We have done countless jobs like this, this year alone as we are burried right now…but we can find the time to fit you in!
Hahah, sorry man, I just wanted to post up a pic of a machine I like deers too! Ill PM you in a few mins. I would like to start this next week, in the evening… wed, thurs, fri… what ever works. Or that sunday.
Thanks man Ill PM you too.
Eff that, its all clay and thers 2 trees next to the slab so that means roots. PIA.
Yeah man, Ill PM you too. Thanks buddy.
if that shits gotta backhoe and a small bucket, thats mint. Let me know if your interested.
I am not trying to be a cheap ass, but I was thinking if someone has some free time, I would throw a tank of fuel in the machine, and throw $100 to the owner. I can rent one for $180 local, so I figured maybe meet a new shift member and put a little extra cash in their pocket.
