Help suggest me a car

i’ve always LOVED the IS250…and i think they’re being offered in manual now too. Like you said though…still very underpowered, but on the flip side, that’s good for MPG that you also mentioned being concerned with in a DD.

92 civic turbo

Thats nice and a good price but if i got a truck i think id rather get a real truck that id be able to tow with and what not but thats deff something to consider. Has some good go to it.

I already has one of those :angryhump:

Man I found a 2004 2500 diesel with 80k on it for 14k but it sold before I called. :frowning: Im hoping to get a real truck sometime in the next few months as well.

O god i would have been all over that myself

I want this! But as a third car not really a dd.

Yea like i have my Jeep and civic(or something else if i sell it) that i would like to be able to tow. If i could find a nice diesel id be all over it or just a 1500 extended cab is my other idea not so great for towing but would do the job dont think id go with out 4wd though.

Fuck i wish i lived in another area where winter didnt happen or matter LOL.

Yeah I was considering a 1500 ext cab but Eventually I want a fullsize enclosed trailer with tools, etc etc so I figure ill go diesel 2500. I need more moniessssss

Yes yes we all do haha.

id look into finding a turbo diesel, they can be found for cheap if you look enough and they are good year around although gas mileage isnt the best stock

for a car you really cant beat an evo and theres one here on the forums that seems like a good deal and already runs great so no need to modify any more

A6 or A8 Audi?

would anyone be able to recommend a good used car place in the OP area?

I drove an is250 awd all weekend, handled ok, wasnt fast, got 28 mpg avg. (mainly city believe it or not) TONS of creature comforts… ie, keyless go, nav, heated/cooled seats, HID’s, bluetooth, privacy, etc etc etc.

And shes had it for 60k miles, with minimal issues…

if you could get an is350 in 6 spd id probably be driving one…

go with TL-S

Considered a Volvo S60 R? Give me a shout if you’d like to, I love mine…

IS250 has been available with a stick since they were first made available, but it’s tough as hell to find one. I’ve only driven one IS250 manual, one IS300 5sp, and an AWESOME SC300 5sp. I also drove an auto IS250 almost every day working at NT, big +1 for the IS.

The is250 in manual was for RWD only. AWD is only auto. You can get rwd and auto as well.

I would def. look into the subaru legacy gt and volvo s60r as well.

subaru legacy gt in white. would def be an awesome dd
