First im not really sure of the voltage in my car i think its 13-15 but the monitor that i want to put in sugest that anything above 12 is going to screw it up i have a 2003 jetta if anybody has any tips on how to reg. the voltage feel free to respond
You will be fine installing it. Your car is normally running at 14 volts but as long as you are using a wiring harness for the correct power source it will only see a tad over 12 volts
itl be fine… no need to regulate the voltage… youre welcome to bring it by the shop and i can take a look at it if you think youre going to start your car on fire… (but im not installing it FOR you)
