HELP!

overnight parts from japan!
sorry, idk squat about hondas

it all depends on your goals… boosted ls, ls/vtec, boosted ls/vtec… its all about funds and goals…

Like what John said…its all about your goals and funds…how much whp do you want to make?

forced induction will give you more streetable and useable power and torque. To do an LS-VTEC the right way it is a little complicated and expensive but then again putting boost pressure to a non turbo engine is a project in itself and requires a good amount of understanding of turbos, static and dynamic compression ratio, fuel and ignition management, and most importantly the effects of preignition and how to avoid it. That beeing said, the honda engines are really good at resisting knock and are very thermally efficent. They are probably one of the easiest and most forgiving engines to mod.

Im not sure what your ability is as far as mechanics. Im not trying to take a hit at you but to let you understand your experience and knowledge. If this is your daily driver you probably dont have weeks on end to track down parts and not drive your car. This is why many people swap engines in these cars cause it can be accomplished by a noob on a weekend and it gives them time to build an engine while they drive the car to work and such. I suggest doing alot of research and find a set up or direction to suit you. Everybody likes different things and there are a number of ways to make power. Each set up has its pros, cons, and limitations. Its important to put your goals on the table, evaluate how realistic they are, and figure out the basic direction you wish to go.

For now if you want quick HP I would suggest N20. I recomend the ZEX kit as it will adjust fuel supply to bottle pressure so the chances of going rich or lean are greatly reduced. You have to keep the amount of wet nitrous at a minimum because your intake is designed to flow air not fuel. too much wet nitrous will result in fuel falling out of the air stream and you engine going lean. This will result in damaged pistons and possibly a blown engine. What Im trying to say is dont go crazy with the jets and run a 50 shot tops. Somebody with more experience with Honda engines and nitrous oxide my have more insight

Good luck

+1 for info
+1 for length of info

What is your budget? That will help in determining the best bang for the buck.

A good set of tires is a good starting point with a Honda. You will have a hard time putting the stock power down from the start. I think you should invest in another engine and possibly a trans. The LS gearing is less than ideal for performance driving. A B16 or GSR trans will make a difference with your stock engine and you could then build an engine on the side. Say B20 VTEC or forged LS short block for turbo. What do the Integra people think?

When you start to modify the internals to be optimum for turbo or NA its hard to go back to the other. If you build a 12:1 compression naturally aspirated engine it would be near impossible to change over to a turbo set up and this is why you need to figure out what route you want to take now. I would check out other peoples set ups and their results + investment and get an idea of what you want
