i have all the basic bolt ons…

what should i buy next to generte more speed…

i have headers.cold air.exhaust

most people are going to respond with turbo…

i’d say cams? nitrous?

if you built your LS motor in the end I don’t think you would be as happy with it.

eh build the motor before you boost it… deff go with cams, in my own op

Turbo the LS or get a built vtec head w/valvetrain and cams and a better header (Hytech style) with a matching 2.5" exhaust

yeh but i heard LS vtecs are very unrelaiable…and how would i go about getting that done…how hard/expensive of a proces is that

Ghetto ass ls vtecs that were poorly done by morons are what gave them that reputation. I have built more then a couple all still running like day 1. Its not going to make great power without spending a few bucks. Basic turbo kits the best way to go assuming the motor is healthy.

But seriously, how much power do you want to add? We can save you from wasting your time on something that simply wont make the car feel as fast as you want it to if your tell us your goals.

Like someone else said, what are your goals? Street machine? Weekend track car? all out race car? Also, how much are you willing to spend?

Some ideas:
-Port your IM and get a larger TB to match. If you have a dual runner IM take out the IABs.
-Cam it(don’t forget the valvetrain either). You can go from mild to wild here, just know that the larger the cam you get the less streetable the car will be.
-LS/Vtec. Don’t half ass it. If you have a deep pocket get light rods and light pistons that will bump your CR up a good bit (11-12:1), if not get the oem pieces refreshed. While the head is off the motor refresh that as well. Get new bearings, arp studs n bolts, etc.
-Turbo. Near endless combinations here. Best bet is to do your research. If you’re too lazy, bring it to Synapse and cut them a check.
-Swap. Can always swap in a b18c of some sort, or an H22. Another much less common option is building an H23/Vtec (or one of the other F/H hybrids) and swapping that in.

Most important: no matter what you do, tune it. Even if you do nothing else, tuning it will make the mods you have now produce more power.
