Guys huge issue…

K so im driving home from work today and my 240 is running smooth. All of a sudden it starts jerking back and forth as im driving. I go to turn into a parking lot but hit a red light and have to stop. I stop and the engine shuts off… I try twice to turn it back on but it wont start. I try a third time and it starts… I drive into the parking lot but it still jerks. I wait almost 1 hour after talkin to ppl about what it could be and i drive off with it running fine. Then the jerking starts again but not as bad and less frequent. It was hardly happening…

Any ideas? I have no idea what could be wrong…

throttle body dirty?
distributor wet?

was it raining?

I would say, check fuel filter first. Show us what your spark plugs look like. We need more details about your car.

If all else fails, I would say to check your Electrical grounds. They can create similar symptoms and corrode faster on a 240 than most cars.
