It’s taking around 8 turnovers to start, and then it barely gets going until I give it some gas, but it only happens if I leave it off for over 20 mins but under 3 hours. It also hesitates when accelerating from 600 rpm to 1000 rpm from a standstill. I replaced the fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, battery, and alternator so far, so I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.
did u change the spark plug wires?
Had the same problem with my 89 and I did everything but the wires too! It ran like a charm after I put new wires in, well until the head gasket went! lol
Timing, check the timing.
