Assuming I do clean up the rim of the wheel and have it installed properly, would these same tires still continue to leak, or would the bead of the tire be damaged enough that it would be pointless? They still have adequate thread on them, so I do expect to burn them off at least (as for spirited driving, not on this set of tires).
