stock… 22psi spike, 16psi at redline.
I would set my 2 step for 7500-8000 rpm. That was my sweet spot, anything less it would bog hard outta the hole on 24.5s
well good luck with ur goals.
gt3076r or gt35r, DO ETTTT!
Nice kit bro,let me know if u need a helping hand.
From what I’ve heard the sweet spot for my car is around 5k… I’m probably going to roast the tires right off the thing because the spray kicks in as soon as the clutch comes out, lol
I pulled my car into the shop today to take a peek at how I’m going to route lines and stuff… It’s going to be an absolute nightmare.
fixed it
That sounds about right…
bone stock srt-4 blocks have been known to handle 500-550 whp… even WITH a 100 shot jim might not get there… should be close though. good luck with the 10’s jim.
Educated and intuitive post right here.
What I’m worried about is that making the power with nitrous is more strenuous on the motor than making it with a big turbo. Shooting for 450whp+ on the spray.
DAMNNN Jim.
:shifty
added a pic of the bottle and the slicks on the first post
shoulda got the carbon fiber bottle.
very good point.
the turbo is more of a linear thing, while the no2 is just a huge kick in the pants. good luck with the build up.
Spray = Torque = turning rods into pretzles
I’d be worried too. Nitrous on top of a stock turboe’d car with the stock ECU rarley works well. In fact, there is no way that I’d do it w/o being able to check/pull timing.
If you are going to do it, get a REAL wideband that you can use with leaded fuel (FJO), tune it to around 11.5 A/F on the bottle, and use PURE C16. Say a little prayer too…
This would also depend on the size of the shot. With my zex kit, it says with the 55 shot that the timing does not need to be adjusted. At the 65 shot pull 2 degrees and the 75 shot they recommend pulling 4 degrees of timing.
Colder plugs are always a great idea as well.
A wideband is definitely a great idea!
Thats why I said ‘check/pull’ timing. Check, and pull if needed:)
I’d go with the colder plugs right off the bat too.
