what? the soft top is always on the car. the hard top goes on the car with the soft top in the down position
Got ya. I misread the first post. I thought you meant the soft top came completely off haha. And I didn’t realize it was still in place with the hardtop on.
soft top is motorized too which is really nice. a lot of other cars don’t have that for whatever reason idk
I can’t deal with it lol. I’m so used to driving in a fully enclosed space it’s just too weird to have no roof lol.
FR-S plz
Drive with the top off more often and you’ll feel fine ya big puss. :skid
I was behind one on 146 in Clifton Park yesterday. Black, id probably take the Toyota version over the Subaru.
s2ki is hard to read sometimes. The “just wrecked my s2k” threads from three month old accounts bother me the most. Teenagers do not belong in this car with their bald tires and asshat driving. On the upside, I don’t see prices dropping much further on the AP1s and some of the builds being documented right now are top notch. Check out hanzel, ej2, silentdancer, jwon, and vinz’s project threads. Even tsukubaspec who got a ton of hate for his borderline bosozuko style mods is doing some cool shit this year and the community response has done a 180. This shows me there’s still a lot of enthusiasm for the car. These guys are raising the bar and the disparity between their builds and the average teenage owned AP1 will make for some lol-worthy threads.
Since owning the car, this is the first year I’ve had those kinds of thoughts. It’s become inconvenient as hell. The more I modded, the less I drove because I was afraid to leave it anywhere to protect what I had. I’m done modding because of that (money as well I guess). Getting it onto a lift is a chore. Even at ASS who have one of the more low-car-friendly alignment racks, it’s a struggle. Other places turn me away. Already on my second front lip. The only thing I can fit in the trunk is a camera and tripod because the rest is filled with wood all the time. There’s places I just can’t go because the entrances are too pitched. I miss out on things occasionally because of that. Just yesterday I tried to enter a driveway for a graduation party and thought I could do it by angling the fuck out of it in reverse. Had the car nearly parallel with the entrance and I was so concentrated on clearing the front end, which still touched bottom by the way, that I put the rear diffuser into a bush as neighbors looked on with total confusion. Don’t know what the hell I was thinking even trying. Ended up street parking with the only damage to my ego, lol. Most of this is my fault for lowering the thing and worrying about it.
