Only problem with Tower road is that its too fast. We need a real windy road.
o ya its gonna be awesome this year,i think tower is the only road that has curves that is paved.

hey i’m in between white and edmonton, Id be intereste in helping get some drift things going… get anything going i drive a silver gtr with blue stripes but mostly head into the city with it but im always looking for long stretches of road to “drive” with other like minded enthusiasts.

I have my cas installed, I reinstalled it after I took my timing cover off. I believe I skipped a few teeh on my timing belt, it makes sense from the issues I’m having. Check this out…
So I have a new timing belt, tensioner and idler to install. I’m pretty sure the tensioner is screwed on my car with the belt being so lose.
Do you happen to have a compression tester for a dohc engine? I will have to buy one to check compression after I install the new timing belt to see if I bent any valves or not. If I did I will probably just buy an N1 engine and sell this one. We’ll see.
I already have my front bumper off. While I am taking the front end apart I will be removing all the A/C stuff as well. Putting my car on a diet.

where did u get your cas from and how much was it?
and dont sell your motor.build it up.
unless your gonna buy a brand new n1 block.
Some compression testers are hard to use on a dohc engine because there is ny way to screw them into the head with the spark plug being so deep. If yours worked on your car I’m sure it will work on mine. Thanks man.
I am still using my cas, have not bought another one. I figure my problems are all cam belt related.
If you skip a few teeth on the belt it will throw the spark and fuel timing off completely. The cas will be at the wrong angle and the valves will be off. I’m thinking my timing became really retarded when the belt slipped and sent a bunch of partially burned fuel into the exhaust. I think this is why my CAT went red hot and the engine started running very poorly. Hopefully this is all that is wrong…
