Yeah I remember I was ahead of some of those changes. The teachers would always be like this will be the last year they are testing for this. Soon you’ll just mail in some cereal box tops and $5.99 for a diploma
It’s definitely not an easy job, but you’ve got to admit that teachers get A LOT of downtime.
Until the parents call because their little angel of a child is failing and there is NO way the kid is stupid.
That’s not even half of it. The fact that we fool ourselves with setting the bar so low is ridiculous. A kid with a raw score of 35% yields a passing grade on the Algebra Regents exam. Give me a break!
