Will Trade for a car - read end for more info

So im about to go on an extended vacation/possibly move, and unfortunately i dont have room to really take it with me in the car im driving in (case is huge…), so if figured id see if anyone is able to drop a lot of money for an awesome tower.

I just built this computer in the middle/late December, and it has been nothing but reliable every day with no issues whatsoever, even with the overclock.

I have receipts for everything above except the graphics card.
I have boxes for everything above except the graphics card, HDD’s, keyboard/mouse, and the box the computer tower came in.

Windows 7 Scores right now are:

Processor: 7.7

My Newegg Shopping list:

^^^Im aware the PSU/Case are not what i listed up there - its just what newegg had to show what i paid for them. (actually, i paid more for them but i figured some deprecation in)

As for the Graphics card - I was holding out to buy the HD6990 when it came out - so if you want something else in there let me know, just buy it and ill throw it in for free…

Also, if you are looking to put a larger graphics card in there/want more power for something else, i have a Cooler Master SilentProM 850W PSU sitting here BNIB. Again - i was just waiting for the other card to be released so i could buy it and throw it in, but plans changed. Id either include or install this for 125$ extra

Price: As you can see above i have almost 1900$ into this (shipping and my time)…but since i need the money before/around the 14th -id take:

$1600

I also would MUCH rather sell everything together, include the operating system, but if you dont need it/other parts throw me an offer and ill think about it.

Either send me a pm on here or a txt to 7163435166

A pic to give more specific details about the computer (click for larger version!!!)

Trades:

Theres not much i really want/need right now in the ‘tech’ field - but i would LOVE to trade it for a car of the following:

IT MUST BE A MANUAL and have a title!!!

93-01 Subaru Impreza Coupe or Sedan (no wagons!) - any miles but it must be compete + drive
1g DSM - Must be complete as the rear end + tranny/diffs/tcase, and have an engine in that will run - turbo, interior im not worried about
3rd Gen Camaro - obv id rather have a v8 but depending on the cleanliness i could take a v6
99-01 Hyundai Tiburon

i could take other stuff, but im hoping you can see kind of what im after.

Good luck with sale. Solid seller and builds good computers guys.

I’ve got a 2000 RS clean title if you wanna try to work something out but I would want cash on top.

how much cash on top, and pics? im kind of interested. if you could either pm/txt or email them to me @ hortanica@gmail.com id really appreciate it!

Decent price for sure.

i7’s FTW!!! unfortunately I’m a mac. GLWS

It scored .1 higher than mine for Win7… is 7.7 the best you can get?

idk, ive never tried lol.

maybe later tonight ill see what i can get her to peak at. I think it actually did like a 7.7 stock, but i dont remember.

My wPrime scores went down from 5.4 to 4.8 though…

Still waiting on more info on that car though CW00EK…

Edit: After looking online what the 970 processor is capable of, people have gotten a perfect 7.9 with a 4.32 Ghz OC, so im almost there…if i can get it (dont see why i cant…) ill do it and run a few tests to see what score i can get out of it and set it back to the 4.10ghz oc.

After 10 minutes of playing with it, i got it to 4.4ghz but it wouldnt run the benchmark fully, but i didnt really play with it - it was just turning up the ‘fsb’ to 185…

but at 180, i got a 7.8…almost there!

Yea I bet you are waiting on me but sorry I actually have a white civic thats gonna beat your dsm in about 4 months…HAHAHA

oh…its you…and keep dreaming lol. plus, that 4 months puts you a lil bit past race day

bump! i know someone on here wants an awesome computer and (actually…) has one of those cars they dont want/need anymore…

steve you’re a douche my teg is gonna stomp on your eGay shaftplay POS turbo all day. anybody can go fast once. too bad yours will be during tuning then BOOM.

vouching for seller. buy with confidence. bumpski

Ur making ms want to crank mine back up and see what she will do. Good job.

Thanks, you should see what you can get out of yours (what is your setup btw?)

I also just read up on i7 overclocking, and after realizing some of the things i can tweak, i started focusing on the ram to see if that was my bottleneck, and it turns out the ram i got is actually overclocking pretty good (IMO)

On that, i got the ram WEI score up to the 7.9 max with the CPU at 7.8, and wPrime down to ~4.4 seconds. When i get back home tomorrow, im pretty sure i can get the WEI score maxed out

Running a stock clocked GTX295 w/backplate.

I dummy OC’d it to 3GHz and let it be. I got it to 4 stable(ish) with the Dark Knight cooler I’m running, but turned it back down because I wasn’t doing anything that really benefited from the additional HP.

That is one of the reasons I’ve been telling a bunch of people about your PC… I spent a lot more than that on mine.

I cant believe i missed that post^. The i7’s are ridiculous. I kind of feel bad for AMD, i used to love their components - but lately they havent been even close to the same in performance. Which kind of sucks - i can get a hell of a deal on the 1090t + hd6850…but idk if im gonna take advantage of it yet…its gonna depend if this moves, ill need something i guess. -Edit: Actually, after quickly looking at the benchmarks of that processor, its not nearly as bad as i thought for the price - i think im gonna have to pick it up

But im gonna bump this and say if you have (or anyone else…) is interested, i do still have it - and for an additional amount (not msrp, dont worry  ) i can include a few more ‘oh shit’ parts with it lol.

The other day my tank straps decided to go on my AWD Spyder, so i replaced them but realized i need another car…it just sucks it happened right after i ordered the parts.

Tomorrow im installing 2 Intel G2 80GB SSD’s in RAID0 (idk if im going to keep them in raid0, im just really curious) and hopefully tuesday ill have 1 of 2 HD6870’s in the computer as well. now - not saying they’ll have to keep the parts in it but they are gonna be in the computer ready to go if you want it. I also upgraded the CPU Cooler with the Corsair A70 which, obv dropped the temps even more so i might try and overclock it a little bit more when i get the SSD’s and Graphic card(s) in.

So for the full package, it will be total hdd’s of 2x80gb for OS, 2x320GB in RAID0 for games/programs, and a 2TB Drive for storage. And the 2 HD6870’s are almost equal in performance to the new HD6990 (Better then an HD5970). And - as you can imagine i also installed the new power supply as well.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150506&cm_re=xfx_hd6870--14-150-506--Product ( That card specifically - just ordered em after seeing it on slickdeals)

I know someone on here doesnt want to go outside this summer!

and, SSD’s are now in in RAID0 Right now. It will only do 7.8 with it as a single drive…so why not. Aso, with the turbo boost enabled, i got it to 7.8 cpu with it only at 4.0ghz, and the vCore at 1.2 instead of the 1.3 it was at

http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz170/hortanica/Computer/ssd.png

Good stuff. I was thinking a nice 500GB hybrid for my next drive… don’t know if I want to go all in on SSDs. How badass is your boot time now?

The boot times right now are insane. It takes longer for the bios + raid then it does for windows to load! But even better, programs open almost instantaneously. Its fricken ridiculous. Im gonna try and take a quick phone vid of the boot up soon.

Also, for what its worth i just put in the segate 500gb hybrid drive in my brother in laws laptop, and it definitely makes a huge difference in boot times and program launches, but hes only on vista so idk what it would get in windows 7, but vista its 5.9. Im gonna be putting one in my laptop later this week thats running 7 so ill find out then. but i guess thats not really a good indicator, as the laptop drive i think is still only sata1 and not 2.

either way im effing impressed with the ssd’s, i cant wait to get the graphic cards in the computer and work on the OC to get it 7.9 across the board lol.

For $1600 this is a steal. Buy a solid computer that will last for years. GLWS!
