The worst part, is the kid still owes $46,000 on it. For another 74 months.

Fixed to reflect current repair bill.
lol @ ballin’ on a budget
This did make me LOL.
Out of warranty = out of warranty. If the dealer doesn’t get reimbursed by the factory, then they lose their ass. I’d be PISSED if I had a customer do this to me. Yes, I feel for you, but do you expect me to take food off my table because your out-of-warranty misfortune? Furthermore, if I don’t pay for your $7,000 repair, you’re going to slander my name? It sucks for the owner of the car, but that’s just not a cool move at all.
lol but $46k for a non-running 5 year old BMW just out of warranty seemed like such a good deal!
Seriously? Don’t remember any recent threads about someone on here getting an M6, which seems thread worthy.
I know one of the salesmen from Towne Ford is on here.
There is a bmw tech on the boards also…
I think he just pasted a quote, but left it vague to stir the pot.
This is an Obama nation… isn’t it?
touche
Ok, regardless…
Towne Hyundai as well.
After looking at the completed listings on eBay,I would figure out some way to collect on the insurance. In running condition its worth $30-35k.
lol the story of my life summed up in a futurama meme… Sigh…
Wait, so if it’s not posted on Nyspeed it didn’t happen?
Drove by towne bmw on my lunch and it wasnt even there any more. Also if towne only wants 7k to fix it im sure a place like blackforest would probably do it for less, i mean could be wrong but 5 or 6k to repair a car thats 6 years old and origianlly cost 120k doest seem terrible. I know when i had my s4 a big concern was the timing chains and tensioners. the parts alone are about 3500 and thats cost i have heard of people spending upwards of 12k to fix their s4 and didnt complain. the sticker price of the car is about %50
