I’m willing to bet Towne never knew this guy existed until he had a problem. Probably didn’t have maint. receipts and/or evidence of abuse.
Companies like BMW don’t turn people away for no reason and believe me the Towne auto group would love to have a $7,000 warranty claim in their building…any dealer would.
Sorry you would think M6 would bring something up in a search when dealing with a m6. Then I searched something else that gave me dates in 07. Fix the search and we are good.

My cost is anywhere from $2800 - $4000 based on terms/deductible/etc.
Average cost per repair has to be $3000, if not more.

Assuming he’s in his mid 20’s, there’s no way he bought this new. I’m willing to bet a paycheck, that this kid went around and told people it was a $119,000 car. Other guys, girls at parties etc.
My guess is it wasnt brand new, but I’m assuming he had a warranty still with the car when he got it used. Probably a car with only about 10-15k miles on it.
regardless of whether or not he’s original owner…THAT low of a mileage means it sat alot. if it sat in a garage for seasonal changes, there’s a good chance it built up moisture in the oil that caused damage upon finally being driven.
My money’s on he bought it second owner private party thinking he got a smoking deal off some widow with no license who’s husband finally kicked the bucket after only driving it to church once a month for 3yrs.
Just curious but whats the $7k engine problem? Waiting for a towne bmw employee to chime in on this one too…

This is my 2007 BMW m6 with 28000 miles, this car has a vanos camshaft engine problem that BMW says is a 7000$ repair the cars warranty expired 3 months ago but the miles are 20000 under warranty specs.
