hks hipower vs apex'i n1

hey, so ive narrowed it down to two…either HKS Hipower or whatever, or Apex’i N1…does anyone have any suggestions on which to get? oh, and if you have pics of either on an s13, post them! itd be a great help
cheers

Apex’i N1, for no reason other than I say so  I dunno, I highly doubt there’s much of a flow difference between performance exhausts, I mean, flow through a pipe aint all that complex, if they know BASIC fluid mechanics, they should all be good.
The N1 is quieter, and might have a tiny bit more backpressure than the HKS for that specific reason, but I like my exhausts quiet, so yea…

Again, I have little to no technical expertise and this is just my preference. Also since you listed these two exhausts, I assumed you’re turbo.

solarian, if you dont have anything useful to post, dont post.

fit, are u talking about n1 or n1 dual?
The n1 dual is a sexy looking exhaust and is pretty loud, and from what I remember has more of an angle than the HKS.
Also, from two people who i know that has an apexi N1 exhaust(dual), the 2nd backmost hanger seems to just break off and take a nice chunk of the exhaust with it, leaving a big hole. Could be just isolated incidents, but has happened twice to people in this club.

best pic of n1 dual installed i can find atm

solarian stop bringing up vauge fluid mechanics relations that really have nothing to do with it.

i was one of the people with the n1 dual issue.

personally id go with an n1 single stainless or the rsr gt2.

both are very nice and will be far less heavy over all

GT

yeah…does anyone have a pic of the N1 single installed? also, who makes the rear lip on the pic of the 240 with the N1 duallys?

everyone has N!

get hi power

thats my car

and thats oem aero

GT

sexy…by oem aero, you mean its the oem rear lip? sorta a stupid question…but just thought id check

yea thats what came on the car stock from the factory.

GT

all of those exhausts are too quiet, especially the Apexi, but ide take the HKS over the apexi

Thats subjective… they are louder than stock. I’d prefer my exhaust to
be as quiet as possible, but the N1 is a good compromise between
noise and flow, while still maintaining a hot sexy deep down spl uptune
sound.
