Hey I havent been driving my car in the winter but this is an issue that arised before i put it away. When i let off on the throttle after being in boost I have compressor surge then my bov opens up, so it seems as though it just isnt opening fast enough, i checked the one way vacuum check valve it is fine, just wondering if anyone else has this problem, i think it may be a vacuum issue or possibly the BOV itself, I only noticed it after i went to a cone filter as the stock air box would have been restricting the sound of the flutter. thanks for any suggestions

is the engine not burning a good percentage of the petrol? running rich?
It’s prob ur vacuum lines, my friend had the same issue with his ca18det. How many lines are t’d off the vacuum line that goes to ur bov??
look at the outlet of the BOV. rev the engine and if the purple center isnt moving first and freely of the black outer part then they have become stuck and is whats causing the compressor surge.
