I loved how much shit I got from everyone using Wood Hockey sticks during my years of playing. Never decided to go to these.

Anyone that doesn’t use a composite stick nowadays is either terrible or poor. Unless you are the rare, super good old-school’er with the old super high gloves and mega skates. They are hard to find nowadays.

I did not like the way they felt. I like the true natural feel of power from a slapshot with a wood stick. Tell me I dont know hockey and I’ll definitely laugh at you.

Had nothing to do with my father. I’m down to play, I’ll be winded short shifting like crazy though because I havent really been on the ice in years.
Reason I state I know hockey is due to playing my whole life for AAA travel teams. Amherst, Depew, Regals… along with that is 1 of 2 freshman to make the Williamsville north Varsity team. Our records were usually 25-2-1. Each year. We were Division 1 large school. 2 years we won the federation championship and opposite 2 were state champs.
Now I know my shot will be wide almost every time since I fucked myself over with playing more roller hockey after… but over time I’ll probably get my slapshot back.

You know i’m just messing with you, but let’s be real, if wooden sticks held any sort of distinct power or weight advantage people would still be using them. The only time I see people with woodys nowadays is if they are terrible, old, or poor. It’s just a silly argument for you to be making.
