hoffmans unlimited wash plan

A set of autopart international posi met pads are cheap , work grea, quiett and don’t leave dust

Id be willing to spend the $$ on a decent set of pads. It looks like it might need a set of rotors this summer as well

Same autopart rotors ,

whatever is on the front of my truck doesnt leave dust either and theyve been on it for 55k. The rears are just Wearever Golds and they dont leave dust either surprisingly. No noises from either set.

The rotors are warped though.

I personally would’nt take anything but a white vehicle through it… I’ve taken my truck through it about 10 times in the last 15 days, its white and I’m considering stopping. there is scuffs and shit on the paint that I know for a fact werent put in there by me, I only notice these scuffs and shit after the wash.

im sure the hose and reel and nozzle at his house were purchased for other reasons like…

yeah lets keep that info out of public eye, enough people know about it as is, and poor people like me rely on that freebie unlimited plan

When I had my Maxima, which was a goldish color, I hated it at first. It was such a crap color. But the more I owned the car, the more I realized how awesome of a color it was. Thing would stay ‘clean’ for like 3-4 weeks.

Black stays clean about a day or two if you’re lucky.

:lol

Wait, you people are really running your cars through an automated carwash that many times and wondering why the paint is getting ruined?

:rofl

Sure, a buffer makes a car look nice, but if you do it 30 times a week then you’re not going to have any clearcoat left!

DOPES!

LOL

Went to go sign up today and couldnt as I dont have my NY plates yet, bastards!!

dude, I would’nt put that thing through there…

I dont have a hose at the house. Its either that or the self service bays. The brushes at the self service places terrify me, i’ve seen some downright horrible ones with rocks/ect stuck in them

Gotta spend a dollar on a high power rinse to clean out the brush before you use it.

I always end up spending like 15 dollars in those fucking things.

They’re not that bad. You have to rinse them off with the high pressure water before using it. Also make sure you hose the car down first with soap, not just water. Trust me, those types of washes are much safer (and cheaper!) than the automated ones.

hoses arent that expensive. Get one.

I spent about 45 minutes washing my truck at home yesterday. At the car wash that would cost quite a bit of money and I was able to take my time washing it, cleaning the white letters on the tires, etc.

:rofl at anyone who uses the brushes at the do it yourself bay.

I’ve seen more rocks/gravel/dirt in those things than anything.

But rocks and gravel are a great abrasive surface to really dig into that tough grime.
