Has anyone ever stopped at Shine? There cars are pitiful. Every car they have is crap and they ask too much. Jared and I stopped there one day and they guy was “tuning” a GTR(with a philips head I guess?). Then he just started revving it up and pretty much bouncing it off the limiter. That’s when we decided to leave.

Man, these things with the importing of cars is getting out of hand, just becauses it’s a car that no one has ever seen before or know about doesn’t mean you can jerk people around, it kind of makes me sick and leaves an even more damaging on our already destroyed image of salespeople. Oh yeah, it’s a Skyline, it’s worth X amount of dollars, oh please, it’s like the old days, yeah, this thing can rip alright and last a long time. Drives me crazy with some of these people and I don’t understand how some lots can get away with it, I hope they find out the true story behind all these things Shine Autos is doing and shut them down, they are so shady it’s not even funny.
Personally I’d only deal with the reliable sources that have built their credibility like Import Concern, DJ Autos, World Car Link, etc…they know how things are done…

stock times on a pulsar are 13.7 1/4 mile i agree that a stock 15 year old pulsar will not fall into the 13’s 14’s would be more realistic, the record in europe is 11.1sec at Santapod
so many things can affect “stock time”… I am not saying that the car cant run it… its just ridicilous when people trying to sell their car at a car show, and telling people what they run, and have no papers with them to back it up…
anyway it was back in the day… maybe they are more reputable and credible now …
