Hey everyone, just got the bottom end back (b18c1 with b18b1 crank) from the machine shop and i need to order main and rod bearings. I got the measurments of the ones i need i just need to know if there is some kind of chart that converts the colors of the bearing to actual measurments. Or if someone could tell me what color ill need for 20 thousands under or .050mm under…thanks!

Here is a chart of Honda B series bearing thickness by color. To calculate actual bearing clearance, use the following formula:
BC = IDBT – ODC – (2 x BT)
BC = bearing clearance
IDBT = inside diameter of bearing tunnel (housing bore)
ODC = outside diameter of crank journal
BT = bearing thickness

Blue 2.013-2.010 mm 0.0793”- 0.0791”

Those ACL’s have some sort of anti-friction material on them that is supposed to be pretty sick. I went with OEM bearings on the last build…what a pain in the ass.
Yes but the crank has been cut and polished before
Ya its a teflon coating… . . basically just insurance in case you loose oil pressure for some reason. tell me about it…dam japs dont want enybody doin there jobs
