Figured out why it runs like poop. No idea how it even ran, let alone the pistons didn’t say hello to the valves. The exhaust cam is like 3 teeth retarded, and that’s what the distributor is attached to.
Fuel pressure tranducer for future digital dash, and so I can data log because I think I still have fueling issues.

Tax returns, AKA car part stimulus package. Lip spoiler came off a Pontiac Aztek of all fucking things. Wheels were cheap. 17x8 17x9.
The car runs and drives, and has for over a month now. I’m working on fixing lots of little issues, like the steering wheel clock spring, moving the horn button to the steering wheel and since I broke the mounts for the factory rear toe rods, my adjustable BRZ setup to show up so I can fabricate new mounts.

Not a Honda guy at all, so curious what kind of power it makes now, and what your plans are with the motor?
As it sits right now, I’m using the stock f23 pistons, which puts me around 8.9-9.0:1 compression (with the intent of adding boost this winter) so right now with a proper tune I’d say its probably around 140-160hp and similar torque.
My goal once I add boost (Precision 5831) is around 300hp and 300ft/lbs, which I think will be alot of fun in a roughly 2300lb car.
I was pretty disappointed when I saw 140-160hp but got much happier about this build when I saw the boost plans.
I had an 86 Fiero GT with the 2.8 V6 for several years as an autocross/weekend toy and I agree it’s going to be a lot of fun with 300hp.
Still not bad for a car that started out with just under 100hp to begin with AND is more reliable now.
