On a track with capable drivers a car will outlap a motorcycle, it’s been proven multiple times.
bullshit… they tested a ZOsix and a gixxer 1000 couple years ago. same driver on both rides. the only thing hte vette had on the bike was entrance speed. the driver is a known racer in both fields.
a car could probably hang with a sportbike but not a supersport bike or a race bike with turn signals
Not just any car…
Look at the top of the spectrum. Gp bikes and formula cars. They are both the fastest at their sport. at the same track the car is a good bit faster. Even in the latest Cycle World magazine they said that the bikes are faster, but not even close to the times the cars run.
For street, i’d have to say a bike would be faster unless the car was a viper/ferrari/lambo/etc… A high end good handling car like a viper could hold it’s own agains a bike any day.
formula cars will turn better laps then sportbikes. your average road car wont though
