Once again, a person fighting over what car is better based on how fast it is. It makes me sick.

So your car can run 11’s in the 1/4. Thats fuckin awesome. It really is. Does that mean it’s a better car than let say a Ferrari? Definatley fucking not.

but it would still be a box with a tiny interior. There are so many cars on the market because there are so many opinions on what features and qualities are nice. Girls buy cars cause they’re “cute” and guys buy cars for their performance. If we wanted to compare an Evo to something in its direct competition it would be a STI not a civic.

With no offense to anyone: If you have the money to buy a 30k plus Evo than I envy your income but from a mechanic/modder stand point I have more respect for the Honda running 11s or even in the 12s. I understand some people have more money than time and for them a new Evo makes more sense for a number of reasons than a modded anything. “Ya gotta pay to play”, “anything that puts a smile on your face will cost you”

I couldn’t agree with you more…hondas all day every day! I would much rather see a boosted civic then a evo any day of the week. But hey, If someone gave me a free evo…it would be for sale the next day so I could get upgrades for my honda! Alot of Honda owners are idiots but the same goes for alot of people who think they’re into cars and really just like putting stickers on stuff. You see everything riced out from Honda Civics to Chevy Camaros. Some people watch fast and the furious and want to wrap their car in vinyl nonsense with a drifter body kit, and say they have a ten second car cause the put their own CAI on and fart cannon and still manage to lose bolts performing these simplist mods. Let me tell you “ricers” 10 seconds is in the 1/4 mile not the 1/8 mile or zero to sixty. So stop playing NFS underground like its your job and cutting me off on my way to work, school, ect. and save yourself the moving violations

As far as Hondas go. They are a fine car. You must consider that the performance that comes from an economy based vehicle is pretty good compared to most vehicles in their class. They are easy to work on for the most part which is good for an entry level modder. There are many tried and true combos out there and you can go pretty fast on a buget.
