honeymoon spots???

vancouver BC - fun city… but its not warm.
bahamas - grand colonial hotel :pimp:
key west FL -
clearwater FL

What about Spain? Valencia would be beautiful. The southern coast is beautiful.

New Zealand!

I want to travel a lot.

I do a lot of traveling (only a couple passport pages left till I have to have more sewn in) and my fiance and I are in the thick of picking a honeymoon spot. So with that said, based on you saying you don’t like to travel and you want stuff to do I’m gonna say go with Hawaii.

You avoid a ton of the hassel of travel by not going international which is good if you don’t like to travel, plus there’s tons of stuff to do if you’re not a “chill and drink by the beach for days on end” kind of guy.

I know that Hawaii seems kind of cliche because it’s sooo popular and it’s tempting to go off the beaten path, but there’s a reason why places are popular and why others are off the beaten path.

I don’t mind traveling, and I’m actually pretty excited to go somewhere not by myself. Most of the places I’ve gone were alone for business to shit holes like Angola, Namibia, Marshall Islands, and Portugal. We’re thinking maybe Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, etc.

US virgin islands FTW. i went to st. thomas, was the ebst vacation i ever went on, all kinds of hiking, the main town has tons of shops and is like a day in itself to just walk around, the beachs are amazing, water is crystal clear, we also took like a private cruise on this sailboat, was lieka full day thing, they supply u with all the drink u want, lunch, and just take you to different spots to go snorkling it was like $150 a person but deff worth it. idk was an awesome place, if that ends up being an option let me know and ill find out the place we stayed at, that too was awesome

ST. Croix amazing island

large 2 week cruise

Fiji

I hear Lackawanna is nice around that time of year.

Lackawanna is a very romantic destination.

We are going at the end of May and beginning of June. I wanted to go to Hawaii, but the plane ride takes too long.

how about one of those all inclusive cruises? they vary in amount of days, how many stops they make, but you could get a decent week long cruise for about 1200/person i think, maybe even less.

The DR

yes i hear this is the time of year to sign up too, terror cells forming for spring session.

7 day cruise to the Western Carribbean with Royal Carribbean cruiseline. A room with a balcony is only about 1200/person. All inclusive except for alcohol and off ship excursions. me and the wifey had it for our honeymoon and we can’t wait to do it again.

Im amazed. so far the only smart ass remarks have been made by girls, and the men seem to take my questions seriously.

Its all good though i guess, as long as it doesnt spoil my thread.

hmmm, im almost starting to lean towards a cruise. Some of the suggestions sound great but very pricey. Her parents are far from millionares.

my bestfriend just got back from a cruise to mexico and the carribean, i believe. she said it was amazing and she figured it out to be about $100/day. which really isnt bad. all meals were included and she said she ate like a queen…all sorts of amazing exotic foods. the only thing that sucked, she said, were that alcoholic drinks weren’t included, but you said you and your fiance don’t drink…so thats sounds like a perfect honeymoon getaway for you guys.

i, on the other hand, would need some booze.

I’d hit it up for Hawaii if it was me. I’d go for 7-10 days because it takes like 14+ hours to fly each way.

Oahu is for good tourist fun. Nice beaches, tons of activities and tourist traps.
Maui - a little more secluded, 2nd most developed island.
Hawaii (Big Island) vast open areas. Active volcano. Expensive hotels. Desolate.
There are other islands but I think they are a bit more exclusive.

If it was me, I would go with Oahu. If you want more privacy, go with Maui or Hawaii.

I have been to Hawaii (Kauai only), St Thomas, St John, St Croix, and St Maarten. As nice as the Caribbean is it can’t hold a candle to Hawaii, especially for a honeymoon. Some of the other Hawaiian islands might be better suited for you then Kauai is. It is gorgeous there but there isn’t a whole lot to do other then see nature and relax. I believe Maui or Oahu might be better suited for you. Please don’t let the lenth of the plane ride (it really isn’t THAT long, Australia was much worse, but still bareable) discourage you from Hawaii, it is well worth the trip. I believe it is the perfect place to honeymoon.

aruba.

mediterranean cruise would be neato!
