Maybe the horse somehow knows that you believe the movie Loose Change.
Or maybe he just doesn’t like people who use the word “hurd” instead of heard. 
Are you looking to break him? english or western? If he is really green then you should really try lunging him for a while. It will get out alot of the energy which will help. But unless you plan on making him a gelding he will always have alot of energy. But hitting him on the nose when he bites will definately work and rewarding him when he has learned his lesson is also good. If you are looking to break him though I know some trainers that you could ask a few questions too or even I might know.
