i thought about it but if anything happend i wouldnt be able to come all the way back up here to fix it. + if smeone didnt pay i wouldnt be able to pay the mortgage.

So you need an understanding renter.

You can always contract out to somebody to come fix it, whether it be a local friend of somebody looking for extra money that you know.
