no, our offence sucked the second half, except for wards nice grab to put them in 3pt range
in cover 2 you have a safety and weak side corner set back about 12 to 15 yards and their responsibility is the play 1/2 the field. then you have a safety and a corner playing up on the recieivers. their job is to slow the recievers down so they dont get a free release which would make them pretty much open instantly (the steelers do this well because they have physical corners) but their pass responsibility is the flat and then they are to get depth if no one is in front of them. so when a person runs to the flat then wheels up the field the corner is suppost to see that and follow him as to not give up a long pass play.
how offenses beat this is run 2 people vertical so the corner/safety has to cover 2 people which is hard but not impoosible or do what oakland did and put the flat player in a position where he bites on the short route then it leaves the safety/corner on an island with the the reciever running near the sideline. most times the 1/2 field player steering near a reciever going vertical up the hash (like oakland did) which makes it near impossible for them to get over the top of the vertical route near the sideline! plus our safety is a 2nd year guy and he takes horrible horrible paths to the ball! its liek hes going to where the reciever is and not where he is going to be!
