7, just because I’m not dropping tons of money on mods like a lot of people do. I’m still a pretty bad car addict though. I’ll take that drive through the Adirondacks I took last month or a day lapping a road course over a lot of things.
I think once I’m done kicking people’s butts I’ll start looking at cars again and be about a 9/10. It just seems right now though that something has to be extremely fast to get interested in it.
Sometimes I think the next fast car I own will be an ultima GTR, meaning when I’m like late 20s or early 30s.
i’d say about 6. it might be higher if i had more knowledge. but i’m not going to pretend i know everything.
Without other obligations I’d be an 8 or 9, but I don’t have the time for cars as much anymore so I’m prob a 7
- Used to be around a 7 a couple of years ago. I still love driving, but lately I find that I would rather squeeze my balls in a vice than “talk cars” with most people, though there are some exceptions…
10, I’m into vintage 90’s GM FWD, who else can say that?
Who would want to?
the million other financially challenged people out there with modified mid to late 90’s pontiacs.
when i signed up for ubrf then nyspeed, i was a 9 or a 10. then i was a 7 then i got a motorcycle and was a 10 again then i didn’t have a motorcycle and i was a 3. i think it’s more that i don’t own anything i’m excited to drive or work on. hopefully i’ll change that in the near future.
it really must be a waning interest though. some new kid started working with me recently. i made the mistake of showing a vague interest in cars and that’s all he will talk to me about. i’m regretting that decision.
Meh, 5. Depends on what else is going on with House, Work, Life, etc…however, when I have a project that I am excited about then I bump up my involvement and excitement. Lately, I have been excited.
LOL!!!
- Above average but not crazy. Still love driving and track related activities and won’t own a car without an LSx in it, but I have no inclination to turn wrenches on any of them myself beyond bolt-ons, changing my oil or MAYBE brakes.
I love me some cars, but I hate when ppl won’t shut up about them.
edit: since when are 90s cars considered vintage?
that’s what i was going to say. for real.
5 - I’m just here for the gang bang.
With no budget to play with cars, I have much less interest in them these days.
10, but only when I have time/money to do projects at my leisure, I hatteeeeee being rushed through work or not having money to cover every base before I throw it back together.
Im also working on getting a more exiting dd, The only thing I hate worse than an endless project car is driving a $500 beater for 1.5 years while working on said endless project car. Im getting too old for that shit
“OMG, what IS THAT!”
“I think that’s just the cigarette lighter”
“Oh, Right”
