I do, but I’m not sure the number of layoffs in the EA area as I’m not based out of/nor work out of the Corporate Campus. Space & Defense, and Aerospace are both effected. Appears to be a lot of white-collar jobs as well.

I have two roles at CannonDesign here in GI. I design plumbing and fire protection systems, and I’m also the bim development leader for our plumbing group firm wide.

so yeah, following up on that last post i made in 2013. i now have a multi-year US visa and am in the development stages of a new US business doing essentially the same thing we do in Canada: automotive hail damage repair. We’ll probably always be a relatively small or medium sized player but it’ll be an exciting couple of years. We had a weak year in Canada last year and we need to diversify a bit. I am the guy leading the charge, making the deals and basically doing the job of 4 average people 
You need to find a way to manufacture hail storms.
