Why does everyone keep asking me that?
Probably because you did well with it, or at least they might think you did. Besides, being your own boss isn’t really that bad of a thing is it?
Rewarding and at the same time frustrating and all consuming. Ask people who have been / are business owners. I guess when you become successful you get past the “living the business” stage…to a point. Miss some of it, don’t miss a lot of it.
I jumped ship from GM to Ford.
Still heating and air conditioning saving people money!
Just started my new gig today:
Hadley Exhibits (Estimator). Long established company. Does work for some very well know clients. They’ve gotten more into the exhibit industry lately but still do trade shows and have some other non-mainstream projects that are crazy interesting. Last place turned out to be the same company it was 20 years ago, just bigger with bigger problems. Realized after about 6-7 months they haven’t changed, and maybe never will. Turns out the cool projects listed on their website are more a rarity than the norm. Not too many exciting things came through the shop in my tenure. Looking forward to working with a company that know how to truly knock people off their feet with some wow factor.
 Hadley is awesome. Just did cave of the winds for us (I am with parks) Good luck!
i have a family friend who does this kind of work on the Canadian side. if there is ever any value in connecting you to them let me know. he’s great people.
Will do. Thanks.
