How do you feel about Pepboys

Just wanted to get the publics feel on Pepboys.

Pepboys USED to be one of my favorite stores (Blvd and Sheridan)
Not only did they have everything but there customer service was great.

I went in there yesterday and its aaaaaaall new faces!
Ive been going there for 8yrs and NOT ONCE did I ever get into an argument with someone there.

Long story short I was greated by the Assistant Manager with attitude and finshed with even more by the end of our conversation. From the beginning she treated me like I was trash wearing a face not suitable for customer service.

I keep my cool the whole time until the end. I told her I didnt come here to get attitude nor did I need it. Well, she got even worse. I went to another customer and he didnt give me attitude but was worthless x 521654321468421

I will never step foot in that Pepboys again, nor will my business and my customers.

AND

If all the Pepboys are like that then im done with Pepboys.

It was a good 8 yrs

I go to the Henrietta one all the time, they almost always have what I need in stock, and I rarely have problems with the people there

i’m guessing he was referring to the lack of details regarding what, exactly, transpired between you and the manager that caused you to complain.

the 2 pep boys in the north towns are kinda getting ghetto… i usually only do there in a pinch…

Half the people that work there are idiots. I never step foot in one unless somethings on sale.

I was at the register when you first walk in. I had my stuff on the counter.

She was at the other register and looks at me and says with attitude.

“DO YOU NEED SOMETHING??!!”
“yea i just wan tto make a return”

“WELL…DO YOU HAVE YOUR RECEIPT!!!”
“no I dont but can I get store credit”

.
.
“OK well…I’ll return these but IM NOT returning these!!!”

“BECASUE THEY ARE OPEN. We dont take open things back”
“I always see packages taped close on the selves”
“WELL IM NOT TAKING THESE BACK”

it continued on from there

I have returned things there before all the time in the past and it was fine…i guess not anymore with new people.
Parts were fine and un-used, package had everything inside.

other than giving you some attitude, i see nothing wrong with them not taking back something that you opened.

its a fucking run of the mill auto parts store. What did you expect?

the thing i opened was a switch holded…still had all the tabs on it. Its not like it was a bulb. I could see not taking a bulb back

its not the fact that i wasnt able to return some things…thats fine with me. I could careless about the $5

its the fact that the Ass. Manager was a B$#^&, thought her attitude was legit for me. And the other person i spoke with was a turd.BTW, i could barely understand his english

I like pepboys

good place to go to get cleaning supplies and the like. I would probably not buy any sort of a part for my car, unless it was an immediate necessity
